  • God gave you two ears and one mouth for a reason

I think it is pretty obvious that one of the
challenges of a marriage is communication.
It seems that women are talkers and men
not so much.

But that is not true across the board. Some men
can talk the bark right off the trees.

So, communication may include talking, but
it also includes listening and tone of voice
and paying attention.

My wife says, “Can I have your undivided attention?”
“Without the TV on, or you checking your Facebook?”

Let’s work on our communication skills.
We can ALL do better.

  • The toilet seat goes up [for men] when you
need to use the restroom. You know what I mean?

My wife hates “splatter.” That’s all I’m gonna say. So,
guys, if we make a mess, let’s clean up.

She also likes the toilet lid down when you
are done. So, don’t forget that.

  • When you are taking your clothes off it is
just as easy to put your shoes away, hang
up your pants and belt, put your socks and
dirty clothes in the clothes hamper, as it is
to just drop them on the floor or the bed or
    hanging on the dresser.

It took me a while to learn this. But, I am much
better than I used to be.

  • Be quick to say I’m sorry. Don’t go to bed
when you are mad or angry.

Ephesians 4:26 (AMP)

When angry, do not sin; do not ever let your
wrath (your exasperation, your fury or
indignation) last until the sun goes down.

And lastly,

  • Always say I love You. Hold hands more.
Cuddle more. Kiss more. Love your spouse!
