Boogie Down in Bossier City

Our concert at Harvest Fellowship, 4601 Airline Dr, Bossier City was to include some great songs by Trevor Morgan, CCR, The Youngbloods, Sweet ComfortBand, Dobie Gray, and many more.

Chuck Whetstone and Fusion included Kenny Adams, bass; George Dyess, lead guitar; Richard Watson, drums/vocals; Doyce Smith, vocals. I played keys, guitars, and vocals. Someone donated a flatbed trailer for us to perform on. Our friend, Don Dykes, supplied the great Bose sound system.

The weather was against us but we were able to play about 9 songs before we had to quit. Just two miles south of us was a torrential rain, so many in Bossier City thought we had been rained out. It turned out to be a good night. Check out tomorrow’s blog/podcast for highlights, song clips, and videos.

Richard Watson preaching

On Sunday morning Kenny Adams was able to teach Sunday School at 9:30. It was a great class about mustard seed faith.

Sunday morning I led the worship at the 10:30 service. (See tomorrow’s blog for the songlist). It was great to be with some old friends worshipping together.

Richard Watson had a great message on Created to Worship.
