amz_The_PreachersWife_kaTT_r1_cWhat could be better than hearing Whitney Houston sing some great songs? How about Denzel Washington being an Angel sent to earth to help a pastor, his congregation, and his family?

The Preacher’s Wife is a 1996 remake of The Bishop’s Wife. It was directed by Penny Marshall. The screenplay is based on the book by Robert Nathan and was written by Nat Mauldin and Allan Scott.

The film runs 123 minutes in color.

I loved this movie. But, just like the Cary Grant “Dudley”, Denzel seems to do a lot of flirting and might wish he was an earthling so he could fall in love with Whitney “Julia.”
